The Teen Power Hour offers a range of activities for Belleville’s Middle School and High School kids in our Teen Center located on the first floor of the Belleville Public Library.

Our Teen Librarian and our volunteers are there to help with homework, research and general questions.

Anime Club!

Come join Miss Lisa in the Children’s Room for Anime Club! We will be discussing various different topics in anime while also exploring and creating our own anime art styles. Young patrons ages 11 and up are invited to participate.

Special Film Presentation: Alice’s Ordinary People @ Belleville Public Library
Feb 18 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Alice’s Ordinary People is a documentary about Alice Tregay, an unsung heroine of the Civil Rights Movement. Her remarkable story spans the historic period from the marches of Dr. King to the election of Barack Obama. Alice’s great contribution in the field of politics is the thread which connects the two. Director Craig Dudnick introduces the situation in Chicago that lead Alice to join the movement.

Popcorn and refreshments will be served compliments of the Belleville Public Library
