Teen Power Hour Escape Room!

This latest installment of our Escape Room places the awesome captivating powers in the hands of our kids.  Two teens from the Power Hour have been volunteered to create their own Escape Room (with guidance) to challenge the problem solving skills of their peers.

The festivities take place:

Wednesday June 19, 2019 between 3pm and 5pm.

The Teen Power Hour (technically 2 hours) meets after school (3pm-5pm) and provides help and activities to Belleville Teens ages approximately 12-16 years of age.

Escape rooms have been popping up all over the country. That’s where a group of people are willingly locked in and given an hour to “break out.” They follow clues posted or hidden in the room, sidestep the red herrings, and work together to beat the clock. The startup Breakout EDU has developed a way to use this playful, exciting model in the classroom environment with kits. These items can be used to create puzzles and treasure hunts for your students to discover content.
