Level 1 (For Beginning Level Students)..... Focus on developing
speaking and listening skills. Learn basic grammar and usage. Learn basic
vocabulary. Practice basic language functions: greetings, making
introductions, asking questions, etc. Class meets Tuesday evenings beginning
September 25, 2007 - from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Level 2 (For Low-Intermediate Level Students)..... Focus on
improving speaking and listening skills. Review basic grammar and
usage. o Learn new structures. Practice additional language functions:
apologizing, complimenting, complaining, etc. Class meets Thursday evenings
beginning September 27, 2007 - from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Level 3 (For High-Intermediate Level Students)..... Focus on
developing greater fluency. Learn new idioms. Continue review of grammar and
usage. Continue practicing language functions: giving directions, following
instructions, accepting and declining invitations, etc. Class meets Saturday
mornings beginning September 29, 2007 - from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
