Teen Advisory Council (TAC):

You are invited to join the TAC!  As a member, you will have the opportunity to assist in creating teen programs, participate in special projects, create teen book displays, select and review books, music, movies and more! Membership looks great on resumes and college applications! Counts towards community service hours. Snacks served!

English as a Second Language classes

Sponsored by The Belleville Public Library & Information Center

Level 1 (For Beginning Level Students)...

Focus on developing speaking and listening skills. Learn basic grammar and usage. Learn basic vocabulary. Practice basic language functions: greetings, making introductions, asking questions, etc.

Class meets Tuesday evenings: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., beginning September 22, 2009.

Level 2 (For Low-Intermediate Level Students)...

Focus on improving speaking and listening skills.  Review basic grammar and usage. Learn new structures. Practice additional language functions: apologizing, complimenting, complaining, etc.

Class meets Thursday evening: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., beginning September 24, 2009
